The Greater Portland Aquarium Society will be having Rusty Wessel coming in from Kentucky doing his Fishes of the Maya presentation. I see that he did one in Seattle earlier on, but if you missed it, closer to Portland, want to visit Portland (and see it), want a chance at rarer specimens he will be bringing for the auction, and/or just to have a fun time - the presentation will be given on Sunday, October 26th at 3:00 PM.

His presentation is Fishes of the Maya! A photo and video presentation on the fishes that live in the area where the ancient Mayan civilization once existed. It covers Southern Mexico, Guatemala and Western Honduras.

Location of the meeting is at the East Portland Moose Lodge (use entrance in back)
16411 NE Halsey St, Portland, Oregon 97230

Guests are welcome; no entrance fee

Family friendly but no childcare provided
Free parking, accessible building in rear.
No furry or feathered pets
