Fresh veggies to feed bn plecos

Some of the fresh foods I've given my plecostomus.

Persimmon

Beet greens

Avocado -- this makes a big mess, but they like it.

Zucchini

Green beans -- French-style, canned and unsalted

Shrimp like it too

Peas -- frozen and deskinned

Repashy

Watermelon

Algae

And of course, they get lots of fish food

They also like leaf lettuce, carrots, sweet potato...

What other vegetables do you feed yours?

I feed mine cucumbers. I'll have to try some of the veggies you are using as well.

Sweet potato is a good one ! You can leave it in the tank for 2 days and it doesn't make a big mess as long as the plecos are 5" or under.

I like to put raw carrot in the tank for the same reason. It lasts a decent amount of time and they graze on it for a couple of days.

I do this as well, carrots, zucchini, apple and spinach are the biggest hits
