Merry Christmas all!! Had some extra time, extra plants and extra supplies laying around so I decided to start a new tank.
I modified the 5 gallon edge tank with a 10 watt color changing led flood light. The substrate is mostly black blasting sand but there is a layer or worm castings mixed with peat moss, clay and other nutrients at the bottom.
Plants consists of: dwarf hairgrass, sounds moss, staurogyne reopens, and miscellaneous buces. I plan on adding some crypts, anubias nana petite, and different mosses in later.
I plan to mist the plants old aquarium tank water at least once a day.
If you guys have any suggestions to improve the tank, I would love to hear them.
