I stripped 4 females of eggs and fry. I didn’t want to strip the eggs but as I was not sure who was carrying what I now have both.

I'm just curious as to why you bothered to strip them. In many years of keeping Cyps I can't recall a single instance in which a brooding female didn't hold to term. Maybe I've just been lucky.

I stripped them to move the fry to a grow out tank.

My diy egg tumbler was a failure and I lost one fry early on but the rest are eating baby brine and flake.
