how do i breed convicts :?:

..1 female convict...(orange belly) 1 male convict (no orange anywhere) 20 gallon cycled tank and lots of hiding place, good clean water and they will never stop breeding.

you will need another 20 gallon..or 10 but i would recommend 20 for fry grow outs..they breed like bunnies..so unless you are using them as feeders or have someone lined up to take a few hundred fry every ooohh month than i would not breed them.

a few females in a tank together are very lovely.

Take a handful of convicts, add water, BOOM! They will spawn. I had 4 pairs spawning in the same tank once.

They will breed in anything. Put them in a pickle jar and you will have fry in a week.

i would say 20 gallon per pare is best for long term.

I tried that but the fish could not get to each other due to all the pickles in the jar...
