I came home from work today to find 2 of my satanoperca leucosticta protecting a section of my aponogeton from the other fish in the tank. The leaf looks like here was a thin layer of sand on it. I then jump on the internet to see the breeding habits of the fish and found out that once the eggs are deposited, the pair will cover the eggs with a thin layer of sand. Sweet!! I have satanoperca eggs, I hope these are fertilized and hopefully I get some fry from this batch. I'll post a video once I figure out how to load videos on here. I'm super excited!!
