I've seen juveniles but not sure I have ever seen an adult. Gorgeous fish.

I saw one in Chinatown years ago that was 16" long, about 14" tall, and at least 3" thick. One of the most dense cichlids I've seen. That's a nice one. I think the same guy had a decent sized pearsi for sale about a year ago, I recognize the name Sid.

They are crazy aggressive but I’m stoked to have a peaceful juvenile one (6-7”)
