So, I picked up Dmd’s old arrowhead puffer last weekend. It’s behavior as a lurker is very strange to me as I also have a fahaka that is always out and pea puffers than jet in and out of the plants.
It is always buried in the sand, and picky doesn’t even begin to explain his eating habits.
Things it currently doesn’t like: frozen krill, clams on the half shell, silversides, sinking pellets, live earthworms, and live crayfish.
Things it enjoys eating…. His tankmates. Haha
The other morning I came out to find a loach missing its stomach, and then all of the guppies that were in that tank before with the fahaka have now all magically disappeared.
I need a name for him… my first thought was something related to Arrowheads, but I also want to make sure the name isn’t offensive or insensitive.
