I was asked to show some pictures of my pack of Xiloensis, They are raging from 5"-8". 2 of the 4 are pie bald, one has a nice pink under his 'bars', and one is still in the juvinile "barred " phaze. They are F1 bred locally, from a wild pair that Jeff Rapps imported. The pair now belongs to Mike at 'Aquraist World' in white center, also Jeff has a picture of the male of the pair on his website, 'tangledupincichlids.com'. There are also some F1 Amarillos swimming with the Xilos. Enjoy I sure do!

Yes, they are the same family as the Midas Cichlid (Amp. Citrinellum). The Xiloensis can grow to 10" in length and can get big bodied, the Midas gets bigger like 12" or 15".
