A sad day... Rapps closing, No more Tangled up in Cichlids

just saw it posted on his website... Rapps has shut down the business. No more Tangled up in Cichlids. A sad day for sure.

Yeah, that is sad. I imagine it's a very time-consuming business to keep running for all those years.

I know. Never bought from him but he had some really good stuff including weird catfish from Asia! A true pillar of the hobby.

I had many different fish from him over the years. Always liked the fact he would bring in some awesome, unique fish that you would not be able to get anywhere else.

My trimac is currently from him and I feel very fortunate to have him ( now even more).

I have heard that a couple of hobbyists that are younger and very active have contacted him to possibly purchase the business.

I have spoken with madness from here and told him if he hadn’t gotten out of the hobby, this would have been the perfect business for him and all of those tanks he used to have!

I just had the sad realization that all the Rapps fish Ive ever owned are now all gone... A few pics of some of the fish I had from him.
