Has anyone successfully bred any varieties of Corydoras lately?

We have ended up with peppered Corycat fry. No intentional breeding.

Someone told me Cory cat like alder cones and Indian almond leaves. Shortly after adding them they started breeding like mad.

Thanks for the tip. I already have the Indian almond leaves but will try the alder cones as well.

my metae and sterbai have bred but my other fish got to the eggs before I can pull them. I just fed lots of meaty food (clams, black worms, white worms, blood worms...) and cold water changes

I wanted to update that since removing the alder cones and IAL, the corycat have stopped breeding. I'll be replacing them soon to see if they start reproducing again.

Interesting. Since I am still getting nothing with either IAL or peat I might as well try alder cones.

I guess that I don't need the cones. There are eggs on all 4 glass surfaces. Now I just have to figure out it they are the dwarf or the green corys.
