Please join us for our first meeting of the 1016-2017 season! Our own GSAS members Jay and Carol Geiler will do Part II with a discussion of various foods they use in their breeding operation. Jay and Carol have successfully bred several difficult fish species and share some of the secrets they use to condition their fish for a successful spawn. During Part 1, Jay & Carol highlighted the various types of foods and cultures used in feeding their fishroom, but according to them, there is more to feeding than just the food itself. In Part 2 they will share some tips and strategies they use when feeding not only their adult fish, but also fry.

Carol writes: "Whether feeding a single tank or many, there’s a wide array of foods to choose from when it comes to feeding your fish. Flake can offer an easy and simple solution but if you’d like to beef up your feeding program or offer special foods for spawning or fry then here’s a look at how we feed our fish."

The presentation, which is open to the public, will be Tuesday, September 13th, 2016 at 7:30 PM at Seattle Pacific University; Otto Miller Hall; Room 109; West Nickerson Street and 3rd Avenue West.

Doors will open about 6:30 PM for a 'social hour'; the meeting will start at 7:30 PM.

After the meeting please join us for our monthly auction and help to support the club that brings us all our these outstanding speakers.
