Out with the Africans and in with the reef!

Been really busy lately and this build has been going a lot slower than I wanted. Here's a quick update: Almost got all the Africans cleared out of my 125G (tall), it's almost ready to become a reef. All my rock has been cycling in a tub for a few weeks, I raised the calcium up and added some...

*Help* Beginner building out my Tanganyikan 75G Tank

I personally would keep tropheus in a species only tank. They will nip the fins of your other fish and with a colony of that size in a 75g they will most likely take over the tank and terrorize your other tangs...and the frontosa may even eat the tropheus when it gets bigger. You should go...

    MY sweet craigslist pick up(150)!!!!!!

can't go wrong with a 150g for 30 bucks lol! Interesting color choice for the background, never seen grey. I think it would be pretty awesome if someone with some decent artistic talent painted a background grey with various black lines to make it look like cracks in a rock wall. Nice score...

THE EYE BITER HAS CAUGHT MY EYE AND WONT LET GO!

Nice looking eye biters! very nice color! Be careful what you keep those with, they do get pretty big (up to a foot) and will need a LONG tank eventually, from reading your other posts I know that you keep a lot haps and peacocks, be careful mixing with those specific fish because eye biters...

    Email was hacked last night

Hello everyone. My email was hacked late last night, it had something to do with a craigslist spam that was a response to an ad I had posted. The weird thing is that I receive these spam emails all the time, and I NEVER click the links that are in the email response. This time was no...

    close call

I use the zilla reptile power center strip, its made by same company that makes the corallife one just a little cheaper price (I guess they assume they can charge more because it's fish related lol) but it is the same strip nonetheless....anyways, they are not GFCI, it says right in the manual...
