    They are good corys and acclimate well to tank life (most are wc) They have turned into the typical goofballs happy corys are.

    Oh ya no gravel at all with corys! Sand or bare bottom! Barbell damage is what kills most corys!

    100W daylight screw in florescent bulb in a desk lamp? Drop in a wafer just before you turn the lights off, thats a good way to be sure your bottomdwellers are getting food.

    Have you seen if he is eating at night? They can be pretty finicky eaters and hard to get on wafers. Can you add a plant bulb right up next to the tank to get some algae growth? Any time we get them in at the lfs I work at only about 50% of them make it through quarantine they are not hardy...

    You need to find and algae wafer with probiotics in it. Most of them are wild caught and are run through so many meds that the bacteria and enzymes in their gut that help them digest their food are pretty well wiped out. No they do not eat plants at all.
