    I paid $30 for an in tank UV Sterilizer online..... My sun Sun Cannister was $70 and came with one.....and I bought a really nice inline one on clearance at Aquarium Co op for $75.....I dont think any of that is stupid money for algae free water....

    I have had this same issue in the past. Tried everything! The only thing that resolved it for me was a in tank UV bulb filter, knocked it out in less than 72 hours..... I currently run Two uv filters constantly on my large tank.

    WOW thats a really nice Sump Setup, Thank You for sharing that. I still cant figure out how to post pictures on here! But my sump is almost exactly the same as the one pictured. I like the idea of the bio mat better than the bio balls.
